We ate at Desi Tavern and everything was absolutely delicious! Kalyan was our server, and he provided excellent service from start to finish. We ordered the butter chicken, curry chicken, garlic naan, okra, and chicken wings, and every dish was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The butter chicken was rich and creamy, the curry chicken was full of bold, authentic flavor, the garlic naan was fresh and soft, the okra was seasoned perfectly, and the chicken wings were packed with flavor. We had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We had our dinner here last night. Our group of 5 liked the food and service. The cajun chicken and Gobi was awesome. The Dum biryani could have been more better but it was tasty though. The menu options were huge where it makes a bit difficult to choose.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this experience at Desi Tavern was disappointing enough to mention. We ordered the veg biryani family pack expecting something flavorful and fresh, but it did not meet expectations at all. The biryani was very dry and tasted like it had been sitting for a while. The vegetables were not cooked properly. The carrots were hard and chewy, almost like they had been frozen, and the overall texture was off. There were also vegetables like zucchini in it, which felt unusual and did not work well with the dish. What made it worse was the ordering experience. When we asked a simple question about what comes with the dish, the response was more focused on upselling than helping us understand the order. We called afterward to share feedback, hoping for a better response, but were just told it would be handled next time. That does not really address the issue, especially for a large order. For the price they charge, we expected much better quality and service. There are plenty of other Indian restaurants nearby that offer more authentic food and a better overall experience, so we will be choosing those instead..

Finally had the wonderful opportunity to try this gem of a restaurant near us and cannot say enough great things! Invited some of my friends to join me in celebration of my birthday and we ordered a table full of food and enjoyed everything immensely! The staff were all so helpful in suggesting choices and explaining dishes and made our time feel so welcome. The conversation flowed and time passed quickly! They made me feel so special with a shout-out happy birthday on the screens and sweet dessert! It was an unexpected personal touch and was such a joy! 😊 πŸŽ‚ Thank you Desi Tavern for reminding us what sharing a meal with friends should be like! We will definitely be back!

I've been enjoying Indian food for 36+ years both locally and when I get a chance to travel. While I'm certainly not an expert on the cuisine I've eaten enough to definitely tell you Desi Tavern is legit! It's right there with the best places I've been in big cities. Feel very fortunate that they're less than 15 minutes from my house. Chaat, dosas, all the Indian classics prepared to your preference and Indo-Chinese fusion dishes. Also lots of small plates to share. They have a full bar as well with an excellent beer selection. Super friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to working my way through the diverse and tempting menu.
